History

In 2003, chef Robert Jutras and his partner, Gordon Douglas, recognized an opening in the market for a fine food shop offering take-home meals that were resplendent with great taste and contemporary flavours. After a year of hard labour gutting the ground floor of the 100 year old brick home and renovating the interior with a commercial kitchen, A Culinary Conspiracy was born. The result was an attractive sweet and savory retail store as well as a bourgeoning catering business.

Even before the paint was dry, local residents were wandering through our doors anticipating the good things we had in mind. It is a testament to Robert’s realized dream that those curious individuals have become our most ardent and loyal patrons. Together with an excellent culinary team and a dynamic workforce, A Culinary Conspiracy continues to grow and expand as it moves into its 6th year of operation.
